Account Removal Overview
If you no longer wish to use BeWith, you can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. This page explains what happens when you remove your account, what data is deleted, and how to submit your request.
What Happens When You Remove Your Account
When your account removal request is processed, the following actions will take place:
- Your user profile, preferences, and settings will be permanently deleted.
- All event data, calendar entries, and scheduling history associated with your account will be removed.
- Any content you have created, including posts, comments, and uploaded media, will be deleted.
- Your access to the BeWith platform and all connected services will be revoked.
- Data shared with third-party integrations connected through your account will no longer be accessible from BeWith.
Data Retention
After your account is removed, most data is deleted immediately. However, certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records and billing history may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations.
- Anonymized and aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely.
- Data required to resolve ongoing disputes, enforce our terms of service, or comply with legal obligations may be retained until the matter is resolved.
How to Request Account Removal
To request the removal of your BeWith account, please follow one of the methods below:
Option 1: In-App Request
Open the BeWith app, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account, and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to confirm your identity before the request is submitted.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Removal Request." Include your registered email address and full name so we can verify your identity and process the request.
Processing Time
Account removal requests are typically processed within 30 days of receiving a verified request. You will receive an email confirmation once your account and data have been successfully deleted. During the processing period, your account may be deactivated and inaccessible.
Before You Remove Your Account
Please consider the following before submitting your request:
- Account removal is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- If you are an administrator of an organization on BeWith, you should transfer ownership before requesting removal to avoid disruption for other team members.
- Download any data or content you wish to keep before submitting your request. You can export your data from Settings > Account > Export Data.
- If you are experiencing an issue with the platform, our support team may be able to help resolve it without removing your account.
